Lisbon Cruise Port (LCP) once again brought home the World Travel Awards (WTA) for Europe’s Leading Cruise Port for a 7th time and six years in a row. Lisbon Cruise Port, part of Global Ports Holding network of ports, continues to lead the industry with its accomplishments. As the winner of 2021 WTA Europe’s Leading Cruise Port, LCP strengthens its position in Europe as a major port of call.
Duarte Cabral, Lisbon Cruise Port General Manager said: “It is an honor to receive the ‘Europe’s Leading Cruise Port 2021” by World Travel Awards. This is the 7th time we receive this prestigious award and 6 years in a row.” He continued: “This award represents the determination of all our stakeholders who contributed to this success. During the pandemic, Lisbon Cruise Port has continued to host layup ships and improve upon its services. LCP implemented both local and international health & safety protocols. With an estimated 107k passengers this year, LCP expects to close the season stronger than the year before.
